We hold four internal club competitions each season, plus a panel and AV competition. The dates of these can be found in our programme. The first club competition of the 2023-24 season was held on October 6th. The gallery below shows some of the best PDIs from that competition.
Club members can submit entries to competitions via the web. Please click here to upload your DPI images. Note: your image file should just include the title e.g. the rose.jpg and be sized a maximum of 1600 x 1200 pixels.
The Print section of the club competitions consists of two sections: Open and Mono. You can enter a total of 4 images across both sections. For the DPI section, you can enter up to three entries.
Club members can also submit entries to competitions via email. Please use the following email address: competitions@southbirminghamphotographicsociety.co.uk
For the Best of the Year competition, there are four print sections (Open, Mono, Portrait and Natural History) and two DPI sections (Open and Mono). From 2020 you will be able to submit 3 entries per section.
For inter-club competitions the Competition Secretary can click here to upload your DPI images and list the Print entries (which will bought along on the night).
